Terms & Conditions

By accessing, browsing, registering for or paying for Global Study Compass you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. If you use the Platform on behalf of an institution, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.

The Platform provides educational information, planning tools, AI-assisted guidance and community features for students preparing to study abroad. It is not a licensed immigration adviser, education agent of record, financial adviser, recruiter or guarantor of admission, scholarship, visa or employment outcomes. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for IELTS, TOEFL, GRE, GMAT, SAT, dMAT, any university, any government or any visa authority; those names are used only for identification and remain the trademarks of their owners.

You must be at least 13 years old (and have parental consent if under 18) and provide accurate registration information. You are responsible for your credentials and for all activity under your account, and you must notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. One account per person; accounts are personal and non-transferable. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, harm other users or expose us to legal risk.

You agree not to:

• Post false, defamatory, harassing, hateful, obscene or unlawful content, or impersonate anyone.
• Submit fake reviews, or reviews for programmes you have no genuine experience of.
• Upload another person's documents or personal data without their consent.
• Scrape, crawl, resell, sublicense, redistribute or use the content or AI output to train competing models.
• Attempt to bypass paywalls, rate limits, authentication or security controls, or probe the Platform for vulnerabilities without written permission.
• Introduce malware, overload our infrastructure, or use the Platform for fraud or money laundering.

You retain ownership of what you submit (SOPs, resumes, reviews, notes). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, display and — for content you publish publicly, such as reviews — reproduce it for the purpose of operating and promoting the Platform. You confirm you have the rights to the content you submit. We may remove or edit content that breaches these Terms, and may retain backups for a reasonable period.

• Premium is sold as one-time passes for a fixed duration (1, 3 or 12 months). Passes do not auto-renew and no recurring mandate is created.
• Prices are shown in Indian Rupees and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We may change prices prospectively; a pass you have already bought is unaffected.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay. Access is activated once payment is confirmed; if you buy while a pass is active, the new duration is added to the remaining time.
• Because Premium is digital content delivered immediately, passes are non-refundable once activated, except where required by law or where a technical fault on our side prevented access and we could not resolve it. Refund requests must be raised within 7 days of purchase via our Contact page and, if approved, are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
• Failed, disputed or charged-back payments may result in immediate suspension of Premium access.
• Fair use applies to AI features; we may apply reasonable rate limits to prevent abuse.

"Apply Now via Partner Counsellor" and similar links take you to independent third parties (such as Eduledge). We may receive a referral fee. We do not control their services, fees, advice or privacy practices, we are not a party to any contract you form with them, and any dispute must be resolved with that party directly.

All software, design, text, data compilations, guides, branding and other materials on the Platform are owned by Vuray Consulting Private Limited or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the Platform for your personal, non-commercial study planning. No other rights are granted.

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, or perform maintenance, at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we are not liable for downtime caused by third-party providers, connectivity issues or force-majeure events.

To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. Information about tests, fees, deadlines, visas and universities changes frequently and must be verified with official sources. See our Disclaimer.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vuray Consulting Private Limited, its directors, employees and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost admissions, scholarships, visas, opportunities, savings, data or profits, arising from your use of or reliance on the Platform. Our total aggregate liability for all claims is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the 6 months preceding the claim, or ₹5,000, whichever is greater. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vuray Consulting Private Limited against claims, losses, liabilities and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your content, or your unlawful use of the Platform.

You may stop using the Platform and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, or where required by law. On termination, licences granted to you end, and unused Premium time is forfeited where termination results from your breach.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at the registered office location of Vuray Consulting Private Limited shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any non-waivable consumer rights you have in your place of residence. Before litigation, both parties will attempt good-faith resolution for 30 days after written notice.

If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them to an affiliate or acquirer. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, are the entire agreement between us. We may update these Terms and will post the revised version here; continued use constitutes acceptance.
